One day, while at a summer camp with her friends, they are attacked by giant alien dogs. One of her friends dies, and most of them, along with herself, are seriously injured. They are saved, and swear to themselves to never allow themselves to be put in that situation again. They train, and become deadly good with weapons. She herself is very good with a sword, and one of her best friends is very good with a bow. They form a group called the Secret Heroes.
