This is the official studio for the upcoming Scratch game: Dark Matter. There are little updates below this line that explain what was, has, or is currently happening towards the production of this game.
There is also a studio for those that wish to submit characters to this game during development.
24 September 2019: This game is going slower than usual right now so don't think ive abandoned it! Besides theres still a lot of stuff ive got to do before I can start really flying on the game creating.
2 September 2019: I recently made a project showcasing two new bosses for Chapter 1. In the project I asked which one should be used as a final boss. You can answer in the comments section of the studio here or you can answer in the comments of the project itself. Thanks!
31 July 2019: Currently working on Chapter 1 of Dark Matter. I will post some projects sooner or later showing some sprites for the upcoming chapter. I will also possibly reveal the first chapters location regarding the story of the game. I'd like to add that a handful of those that submitted characters will have their characters in the first chapter, one of which plays a big role story wise, so I hope you guys are pumped for that! Well, that's all I got for now.
15 July 2019: You know what? I think I might not even make a trailer at all! It's just so frustrating trying to make a song that fits with every action I make with the scenes! The art is easy-peasy, but when it comes to the music... I dunno, I might just stop production with the trailer or just post the trailer without any music. What should I do?
15 July 2019: Alright, so I'm not taking a break from this game yet... As you can see from the updated thumbnail, I'm working on the Renewed Trailer for the game. After I release the trailer, I will then work on the Jester Backstory trailer. and then once that's finished, I'll work on some more sprites for character submissions. AS YOU CAN SEE, THERE IS A LOT THAT HAS TO BE DONE!!! I still also haven't had time to work on the demo at all. But once I get all of these little things out of the way, I can at least have a solid idea of how I'm going to start this games story! Again, thank you to those who have followed the studio and also submitted to the character submissions studio (there's a link down below to others that are interested!). I am also typing this at 1:00 am. So imma sleep now!
9 July 2019: Imma post one more project for character sprites and then after that, I'm going to take a break from the game.
26 June 2019: I made a new studio for those that want to submit there character ideas to me. Here is the link: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/19912793/
24 June 2019: The Backstory for Jester shall commence! Once I make it of course... This will count as A trailer. There will be more trailers, many in fact.
23 June 2019: The Backstory Poll for Jester and Bob stands at 3:2
19 May 2019:
Currently working on an actual trailer for the game rather than leaving the game with a bland prank trailer like that one... you know, the one. I've also begun on coding the demo and it should be released in a month or so. (depends on my laziness I guess...). That's all I got for now! Thank you to those that have followed the studio and have watched my progress. It means a lot.
21 April 2019:
I'm making a game here on Scratch called Dark Matter. It's a turn-based RPG with a little bit of exploration. It tells a story of a kingdom and it's subjects gone dark, and it's up to a couple of protagonists to save it. I plan on releasing a demo of it in a couple of months. My progress on the demo is going very well. Many characters and theme songs are done, although I have not started on the coding yet. I hope this will turn out to be a very famous Scratch game. Wish me luck!
The little guy for the studio picture is one of the common enemies that will be going into the demo as well as the full game!
