Katie followed James through the dark forest. "So James-" Katie started. "How did you end up meeting King Daniel? and why is he so mean to you?" James interrupted. "well... he found me when i first hatched, and i have no idea why he's so mean to me." Katie answered. "well i think he should be more kind to you! so far you've been so kind and generous to everyone you've met!" he smiled at her. Katie blushed and slightly lowered her head. James blushed too. 'D-does he like me? 'cause i like him...' Katie thought. James looked back at her and smiled. "D-do you want to go to the waterfront with me later?" he asked.

"He likes me! He likes me! He likes me!" she celebrated once she got to her room in the palace. hours later she heard someone at her door and she quickly opened it.
"James!” she smiled.
