BEFORE you read, I'm not doing this for attention. This is NOT a bluff or a joke. I'm serious
The title is self-explanatory.
I'm just going to cut to the chase,
I hate Scratch, it's getting so boring
Scratch is like a teenage girl, it goes through phases. One of them being the Sonic/My Little Pony phase which happened years ago.
I remember when all people could talk about was Griffpatch, he's still popular but he is barely the talk of Scratch anymore
I remember everybody was making Colouring Contests and M.A.P.s, now people are doing these weird meme animation things
I also remember when cats were the main thing people were drawing and Warriors was all people could fawn over.
And people used to and are still obsessing over Steven Universe so cringely.
I remember when everybody was infatuated with Undertale and Five Nights at Freddy's, now everybody hates FNAF and people are uninterested in Undertale.
The featured projects haven't changed, they are always some meme, vector art/game, or a Griffpatch game
I remember when Rainbowenderz, Rainbowwaffle, Slash, and some other vector/cat/Steven Universe artists were popular
I also remember when anime just started to become one of the main things in Scratch. It started off with Colouring contests and Pokemon
The point is is that Scratch has reached a point in time where it has become this weird mixture of everything and it's too hard to grasp what everyone is doing and it has become so confusing. I have no idea who or what is popular.
The new Scratch design has contributed to that by being hard to use and buggy
I am also not getting any attention anymore, not that I'm trying to be selfish, I'm just saying, how am I going to be constructive if nobody pays any mind to me? I doubt this studio will get any attention either.
Also, all of my old friends are starting to move accounts and cut off all contact from me, leave Scratch, or unfollow me and stop talking to me. It's getting irritating!
I've also received a reputation on Scratch. Because of my old stupid messages, that are embarrassing to read, a lot of scratchers view me as overdramatic.
I'm getting tired of all of this crap.
I'm sick of trying to fit in on Scratch and share my creativity, because in the end, it isn't worth it.
It's either Scratch or me being pessimistic, but it's gotten boring and an irritating mess of drama
With that being said, yes, I REALLY want to quit Scratch, but part of me doesn't want to because I've been on for 6 years now and I want to continue to make projects and continue my games. I'm honestly really confused.
So, I might quit Scratch for good this time. And I do remember all of the times I tried to before, but this time it isn't a bluff if I actually decide to.
