Breezepaw opened her eyes angrily. She looked to see Thymepaw trampling her tail and Strikepaw arguing with him over prey. Breezepaw got up "You messed up my fur!" she yowled. Breezepaw got up and padded by Tymepaw's prey, she scooped it up and ran to her favorite blossom tree. "Give That Back!" Shouted Tymepaw. "Why should I!?" Breezepaw snapped and added "You messed up my fur." "Why should I care about you fur!?" Tymepaw said angrily. "Because we were both from the same clan. And the Only two WindClan survivors!" Breezepaw hissed. "Just because we are from Windclan doesn't mean I need to care about your fur." Said Tymepaw with sarcastic pity. Breezepaw dropped the prey and watched him from above, in her blossom tree.
Nightpaw was looking from a birch tree at the cats argue. She closed her eyes in fustration and amusment she was the leader of the 'clan' the apprentices had made. The real clans were in ruins sickness and a harsh leaf-bare had made the clans attack each other resulting in a bloody war. The only survivors were the apprentices and the bad memories of war. Nightpaw sighed she leaped down from the tree and stared past the unfinished dens to the land beyond Thunderclan. The new clan had moved away from the desruction to a quiet forest but if you looked past all the harmony you could see the old clans territory and the echos of death that whent with war.
Breezepaws tail twitched in annoyance as she watched Thymepaw eat his prey. She watched Nightpaw slide down her birch tree and pick a vole out of the prey pile. She wished the war had never happed and she was in her den after a long chasing of rabbits in the MOOR not a forest and spending time with her family...her dead family, the one that a Riverclan warrior murdered. She gazed at Leopardpaw across the clearing and thought 'her parents killed my brother. She will pay!'
Nightpaw was watching strikepaw and Thymepaw fight over prey. Soon after a few minutes of watching she had enough she stood up and shouted "MOUSE-BRAINS!" Thymepaw and Strikepaw stopped "why are you fighting over one piece of prey?! There are LOADS of prey in the freash kill pile and if you prefer to hunt good yourself then go do it!" She snatched the prey that they were fighting over, a rabbit and came over to share it with breezepaw. Breezepaw looked at her and padded off to sit in the shade a few tail lengths away.
Tymepaw padded to sit down under the blossom tree were he met Breezepaw. A few heart beats later Tymepaw looked up, to see Breezepaw already there.
"Do you miss WindClan?" Mewed Breezepaw. "Every day.." He replied with a sigh. "Yeah.. I do too.." She mewed sadly.
Nightpaw sat in the camp and glanced out of the camp. To see Breezepaw and Thymepaw who were by the blossom tree. Nightpaw looked at the two feeling.. Crushed. She never told anyone but she had feelings for Thymepaw. Nightpaw could sense that Breezepaw too had feelings for the tabby tom.
'She is sad.. But how do I help her?' Tymepaw thought to himself.
Breezepaw looked sadly at the desolate land beyond Oneclan at the Windclan moor. The tall grass and the pretty heather were no longer there, Windclan was a barren rocky place. Thymepaw put his tail on Breezepaw to comfort her they could only hope for the best in this new clan.
Breezepaw rested her head on Tymepaws flank. "What will the future hold.."She murmured. Tymepaw just looked at her with a sigh, and gave her a stern gaze. "I dont know.."
Nightpaw watched the two, feeling a small hint of jealousy. Then she looked down and a tear rolled down her eye. She looked up at the sky and saw the sunset Alone Nightpaw watched the sun set with Breezepaw and Tymepaw under it. Nightstar padded up to the two and watched the sunset with them. Nightpaw began to feel her paw toutch Tymepaw's. Both her and Tymepaw smiled at each other. With Breezepaw in front of them gazing at the pretty sunset without noticing behind her. Nightpaw felt.. happy. She moved closer to Tymepaw nd put her paw on his. Both Tymepaw and Nightpaw smiled. Then Tymepaw looked at Breezepaw and felt guilty.
'What am I doing!?' Tymepaw thought to himself. 'Breezepaw.. she will feel crushed.. broken..'
Tymepaw felt Nightpaw's warm loving gaze on him. He sighed and took his paw away from hers and scooted away. He gave her a firm look, and padded up to Breezepaw and twined tails with her. He didn't even look back, yet he still felt the cold crushed gaze from Nightpaw on him. He just sighed and looked down, and then Breezepaw rested her head on his sholder.
'I know Nightpaw is looking at us.' Breezepaw thought. 'I feel bad..' she looked down at her paws, then at sleeping Tymepaw. She could see Nightpaw fake sleeping behind them. Breezepaw got up quietly and padded over to her blossom tree. The moon shone brightly on her coat.
