RED: Fire.
BLUE: Water.
BLACK: Shapeshifting.
PURPLE: No powers except being able to see shapeshifted Blacks in their true form (as in, human).

Though there are some illegal serums that Reds and Blues can get on the black market...

In the middle of a harsh mountain range that no one has ever crossed are two cities, who have had a feud for as long as anyone can remember. The only thing they agree on is hating Purples, the minority "Halfs" who never fit in. Purples don't even have powers: they're allergic to magic. Then one Purple turns Black, and now she's raising an army of Blacks (Purples that shapeshift, though nobody knows how) to take over the cities for herself. Both Reds and Blues are in danger... but the only people who can stop the Blacks are the ones they're least likely to listen to.

The "Black" category does NOT refer to skin color. Please, no angry comments. ~ One of the reasons that people hate Purples so much is that the Crown Princess Alcina, who was one, was the first Black. ~ Alcina does not have any siblings, so no princes or other princesses. ~ Reds and Blues have no reason EVER to trust Blacks, because they're under the control of the Crown Princess. For Purples, it depends on whether they're fine with Alcina taking over. ~ Only Purples can see Blacks as they really are when they've shape-shifted. ~ A Black's true form varies, but all Blacks have fully black eyes, no white or color. The black eyes is only when they're in human form, though. ~ The Purple Squad is a collection of officials dedicated to catching Purples. ~ The codeword is "Graybeard Halt". Anyone know what fandom it's from? ~ Captured Purples are test subjects for new serums. They can't escape. ~ Barely anybody wears the opposite color (as in, a Blue wearing red) and it isn't exactly a good way to make lots of friends. ~ Though Purples technically aren't against the law, they are STRONGLY discouraged. And they get taken away by the Purple Squad if they're not hidden well enough.
