You are born under the ground, inside a cave dug out by your pack-mates. Once you're old enough, you leave and look around the almost endless grassland you see before you. There is only three trees close by, there is only one lake, and the grass is very dead. This is your home.

Info about Coius:
You're a raptor-like animal that has feathers on their tail-tip/tail, elbows, and the back of the head. They almost always have a stripe along their back, starting at the bottom of the neck and ends at the beginning of the tail. They have sharp claws on their hind-claws. They do not have enough feathers or length in their arms to fly. They have strong arms to rip and drab things. The brighter the color of your stripe is, the better chance you have of getting a mate. They are named Coius (A pack of Coius is named a flock).

When you're old enough, you will become a pupil to someone older than you who can show you the way of pack-life.
This is a different world then earth, it is a lot alike earth but there are no humans here (Humans can't breath the air here)
The place you live in is known as a grass desert, there is little water but lots of dead grass.
