This studio is not a feminist studio. It is an egalitarian studio, focusing on the rights of both males and females, rather than just one gender.
With the recent radical feminist movements, misandry has been on the rise, and discrimination against males has risen.
In the Middle East and other third-world countries, women are treated horribly, worse than property.
The world has come a long way on the topic of equal rights for males and females, but recent events prove that we still have a long road ahead of us before discrimination against the sexes ends.
Discrimination towards both males and females is prevalent in the world, and this studio's goal is to promote gender equality, and find a balance between the woman's rights and men's rights movements. Neither males nor females have to fit into stereotypes, and men and women can be skilled at different things, for example.
Ask to curate if you support egalitarianism / equality! Even if you consider yourself a feminist or similar, you may curate, though please keep in mind this studio is not a feminist or anti-feminist studio, it is neither.
Only add related projects please, unrelated projects will be removed. Try to add projects that promote gender equality, specifically, promoting the rights of *both* genders, rather than feminist projects.
Since this has been brought up, I am aware that people who identify as gender-neutral, agender, etc, exist, and they definitely deserve to be treated equally as well, just to avoid any confusion.
I know that Egalitarianism is about equal rights for all humans, and is not specifically about the sexes, but I changed the title to that because some people found the original title "Promoting Gender Equality" too offensive.
This studio is not intended to offend anyone. Debates are welcome in the comment section, but please try to be respectful of other's beliefs.
Comments that disagree with this studio's purpose will NOT be reported. A place without opposing viewpoints is an echo chamber, and we welcome any questions or arguments you may want to put forth.
The most active curators will be promoted to manager.
