What is "being normal"?
What does it mean?
What's the first thing that comes into your mind when you hear the word "normal"?
If you think that being normal is being perfect and "average", then your wrong. Being Gay doesn't make you not normal, it doesn't make you a different species. You're still human. Some people act like being Gay or having a disorder makes you not normal and act like you're not a human.
Nobody is normal, everyone is different. Nobody is perfect, we all have flaws. Even if we don't want flaws, we still have them. We can be mean, snobby, gloomy. This is who we are. Being normal is not real. The best person you can be is yourself.
Some people get so disappointed about ourselves that we get rid of ourselves. We have bullies who mock us for how we look, act, and think.
Kids at my school make fun of people who are really close friends and hug each other a lot by calling them Gay or Lesbian. They make it seem like being Gay is bad and that your terrible if you're gay. I heard some kids say that they didn't want to sit near some gay people on the bus. They acted like they had an infection.
Normal. Average. Perfect. Flawless. These are not real.
You know what? I AM DIFFERENT.
I'm proud to be different. I'm proud that I look and act different. I'm proud i'm not perfect. I'm proud of myself! I don't care what people might say about me. I only care about what I think. I'm gloomy, i'm shy, I hold pencils differently, I'm young and tall.
Say what YOU feel to the world.
How are you different?
NORMAL IS NOT REAL, AND THAT'S GOOD.
