I SIGNED UP! My username is Purplepuma779 (like on everywhere else)!

I really want to make a deviant art account, but I'm not sure if it costs money, or if you have to pay to get most access features like some other sites I've wastefully created accounts for. I'm just wondering these few things before I fully go ahead with making an account, and before my parents will let me:

~Does it cost money to sign up?
~Does it cost money to be able to post, comment, or do any other community-related things?
~Does it require an email address/verification code?
~Does it require a phone number/verification code?
~Did other people have a good experience on the site, or is the community a bit bad?
~Is there an age restriction that's greater than 13-14+?
THIS ONE WASN'T HERE BEFORE:
~I also searched the help/FAQ, and am wondering if you actually need a Sta.sh account to submit art, or if it's just another option?

If I agree with most of these things, then I'll create an account!
If not, then I won't make one!
