I'm going to say this again.
This is directed to all the people who have said to someone "your series is extremely similar to ___" or "you copied ___!!!!"
No animated series is a "copy"..
How can you even say that if you don't even know the full plot?
Take "The Fourth Faction" for example.
So many people accused TheFarEnd of copying Divergent and The Colour Divide.
From the small glimpse of the plot you get from the trailer, how could you possibly say it's a copy?
Take my series, The Wand for another example.
The trailer was based off Episode One, probably the most similar to the Colour Divide.
However, in recent episodes it is now nothing like the Colour Divide.
See what I mean?
You have to know what happens in the whole thing before you can accuse someone of copying.
"a thing made to be similar or identical to another."
"the problem is telling which is the original document and which the copy"
I've spoken up for this twice.
I'm not stopping until this has stopped.
I speak up for what I believe in, and if you think the same thing too, you should speak up for it as well.
This is going to stop.

Notes From Managers, Curators, and Supporters:
Copies are like remixes. You take the original, and do something with it. Non-Copies are when you use inspiration from other people to create your OWN unique idea.
No series is a copy, even if it is inspired. No series is better than another. The plots aren't going to be the same, neither the characters ! We must learn that every series is unique in their own special way.
Everyone draws inspiration from different sources, but that's not the same as copying a source. -Death
I agree, people take a lot of time and effort creating their series. They wouldn't want a person to say "you copied____!" -Iw1822
I completely agree! People don't look at the definition of 'copy' properly. It's really unfair on the project maker/animator to say that their work is a copy of someone else's when it isn't. Thanks for bringing up this topic[.] -24ecotton
"I agree, while some series might have small similarity's, they are each made by a different individual planning to do something different. For instance there are a TON of magic series on scratch, which is completely fine! Magic a general topic, and it is easy to work with and people make SO many creative ideas out of it! It's just one big community each expressing a certain genre in their own way!" ~Magical Madness
"People work on things for months and months at a time to get something out there that they're proud of. But then some other people say that it's a 'copy' of some other animated series that you (the creator of that animation) have never even seen. Don't people understand how hurtful that can be to some people? Just stop and think before you write a comment." -hbunny
No series is a copy, even if it is inspired. And no series is better than another.
"I'm tired and sick of seeing that people write those kinds of things. Other scratchers take weeks upon weeks to create an AMAZING series and and all that people do in the comments is say that their project is 'too similar' to someone's work."
I just don't understand why some people tell other people who have worked on a animated series for months, or weeks, and say that "OMG!! You copied the ______ series! YOU ARE RUDE FOR COPYING!". No series is a copy. It might be simlar, but it isnt a FULL copy. They made it up with their creativity and imagination. Don't be afraid if you are planning to make a animated series and post it on Scratch and think people would think it is a copy. This studio will support you with the creation with your series.
There is no such thing as a copy. Someone may've taken inspiration from another series, or aspects of their series might seem similar or close to another series, but this does not mean that it is a copy. I am tired of people accusing others that "this is a copy of The Colour Divide/The Wand/Elements/The Fourth Faction/Divergent". Like I said before, aspects may be similar, and like I said before: But that doesn't under any circumstances mean that it is a copy.
Copies... yeah there are such things, but things that are EXACTLY ALIKE, like word for word, that's plagiarism. Sure you might be against me for saying this but... yeah people can easily copy em, and sometimes copies exist all over the internet. Deal with it. But like all the comments up there before me ^^ some are NOT copies! Just similar stories! SIMILAR! there is no copy in those, just some misunderstood relation between them that people believe exist. Maybe it's a coincidence, maybe it's just
