This is the island of Sterata. Here, everything is balanced. People honor both light and dark, hate and love. They balance the beauty of nature with the the advancement of industry. Both women and men play vital roles, though those roles are very strict. Women stay home, taking care of the children and house and making food, clothing, and other household items. Men hunt, work in the fields, and make weapons, furniture, and stuff like that. They also fight, if necessary. But the most important part of Steratian culture is their gods and goddesses. There are temples and shrines all over the place, and there are many festivals celebrating the gods and goddesses.
Up above the clouds, there is a beautiful Opal palace, where the gods and goddesses live. They eat fruits from the Silver Trees and have an overall rather enjoyable life. The clouds are soft, like fleece, and lush grass and flowers are all over the ground, giving way only to clear lakes and crystal waterfalls. Below that is where the humans live. Some gods and goddesses have been banished there for a while for committing petty crimes. Their powers are taken away and they wander the world of humans until they are forgiven. And below THAT is the land of the dead, which is like a shining black maze of canyons and cliffs. The souls here are no longer material, just air held together by memories.
In this RP, you can be a god/goddess, human, or demigod. At the very bottom is a list of the things you can be the god/goddess of. Feel free to make up your own, and I'll tell you if it's alright. If you are a human or demigod, here are some jobs you can have:
