Maybe you see it; maybe you don't - every day, everywhere, things are constantly blending in! From animals that camouflage themselves, to someone trying to fit into a crowd, to a group of friends playing hide and seek… blending in means to use colors, objects, patterns, or any other means to conceal and make something hard to spot! In this Scratch Design Studio, explore real-world situations where things might blend in - or, come up with your own cool methods of blending in!
Here are some ideas to help you if you get stuck:
- Create a hide-and-seek project where the viewer has to look for an animal blending in with the environment
- Demonstrate your own idea for how to blend in somehow or somewhere (for example, wearing dark clothes in the dark!)
- Design a superhero who needs to change outfits to blend in with the civilians
- Construct a mystery project, where the viewer is a detective who has to discover hidden clues
Remember, these are only suggestions! You are welcome to come up with your own ideas as well.

All projects must meet the community guidelines and be appropriate for all ages.
