leaves fall off trees when they aren't doing their job any more. A leaf's job is to turn sunlight into food for the tree. To do this, the leaf needs water. ... The tree doesn't want to waste all the good things in the leaf, so it takes the nutrients from the leaf back into the stems and roots

Well, that’s what we’re doing!
Our project for the month is sketching a autumn leave!,
How we’re doing it:

1. Go outside and enjoy your day, while picking up some leaves ‘just 2 or 3’ and bring them home. Since it’s covid wash up those leaves and then use it.

2. Get a sketchbook or some paper.
After that, get a pencil that’s sharpened.

3. Pick up your leaf and place it behind the paper like this —-

4. After you’ve done that, get your pencil and shade it with your pencil. Shade the part where you put the leaf under the paper. Once you’ve done that, your all finished! Your artwork will be amazing! I would really wanna see it, so send it here!
