At STEM Club for Young
Scientists there will always be science activity that you can do and you can take a picture of your work if you want. You can also add science related projects. I will promote everybody so that way people can always new science experiments to the collection. Please invite everyone you can. Please comment if you want to be part of the club. Please add your name to the list if your a club member. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math.
The tin Foil Boat Project:
Supplies: Tin Foil, coins, scissors, tub, and water.
STEP 1: Create a design for a boat out of tin foil, that you think can hold all of the coins.
STEP 2: Put your boat in the water, and put the coins in one by one. See how many it can hold.
STEP 3: If your boat can hold all the coins then take your coins off your boat and put them on you your boat one by one but this time put them all to one side. Repeat that until you do that for all the sides. If your boat sinks improve and try again.
The Layered Boat Project:
Supplies: Container With cap, Water, and Soil.
Step 1: Put soil in a container.
Step 2: Put water in the container and close the container tightly.
Step 3: Shake the container.
Step 4: Wait three days.
The layers of soil that you see from top to bottom are pebbles, sand, silt, clay, and humus. You might not be able to see all the layers but that's okay.
