~The island of Vari is unknown to any other species, but the Varians. It its divided into 7 tribes; ColorTribe, RiverTribe, EarthTribe, FlameTribe, CloudTribe, TechTribe, and ShadowTribe.
~Shadow monsters have infected the island and the tribes have been trying to fight them off for 20 years.
~Strongness of your altering (ex. WaterAltering, ShadowAltering, and AirAltering) depends on your family.
~ Tagish is a second language spoken by some Varians

~ Every full moon the tribes have a gathering, which is a meeting with their alliances. At the borders of the two tribes.

They sometimes help, plan, and just talk to each other, but they don't share big secrets.

Each tribe has a stone in the royal palace that flashes when the tribe is in trouble, or glows when its time for the gathering. The stone also gives the tribe their strength, EarthTribe has a stone in their arm that is like their stone.

✷ ColorTribe is the most friendly and curious tribe. They love to be unique and colorful.
✷ RiverTribe is thoughtful and gentle and they love water. They are the most experienced healers.
✷ EarthTribe is strong and determined they usually think things through even thought it may not seem like it
✷ FlameTribe is one of the most calm tribes, they learn to be peaceful so they can control the volcano they live in. They are sometimes shy, but can be determined at the same time.
✷ CloudTribe love to move freely and try to avoid conflict. They are kind and treat everyone the same.
✷ TechTribe is smart and curious. They love working with machines or like to do puzzles and love riddles
✷ ShadowTribe is dark and determined, they like the dark and are usually the shyest, but are angered easily.

The 7 Tribes make up the hidden island Vari. They look like humans but are a bit bigger and have either scale-y wings with wing membranes, no wings or feathered wings. Each tribe has there own unique looks to adapt in their environments.
✷ TechTribe does not have wings because they build machines that help them get around. They are extremely smart at birth and can figure anything out. They have fingers that are longer that usual ones and are more flexible and small.
✷ EarthTribe doesn't have wings either, every Varian can control an element, EarthTribe can move earth to travel. They have a stone that they are born with in their arm that gives them more strength.
✷ CloudTribe has the biggest feathered wings, they last the longest in the sky because they live in tall towers and fly everywhere. They can move air so they can fly faster and glide longer. They also have tiny wings on their legs to stabilize them
✷ ColorTribe has feathered wings too, they have different colored ones while most feathered wings are white or black. They can change things colors and make rainbows out of nothing. They are born with a colored streak in their hair that gives them their name and helps them concentrate.
✷ RiverTribe has scale-y wings to help them swim faster, they rarely fly, but instead use them to slow down, go faster, or turn in the water. They have lungs that help them hold their breath longer.
✷ FlameTribe has scale-y wings also and they are harder than most, because they are fireproof, and often use them to protect them from splatters of lava that come up when someone is angry. They are built to survive the hottest of temperatures.
✷ ShadowTribe has scale-y wings that are usually dark colored, they use them to gather shadows and darkness like a shield and invisibility cloak. They are born with a streak of black hair or completely black hair. They don't need much food to survive.
