Welcome to the Words of Advice, the sequels to the Messages of Hope. They're a little different, but the same basic idea- a message I need to share with you all.
NOTE: I haven't invited anyone but my quintet yet, so if you're seeing this...you're early! x3
There's an old saying- "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." Basically, when bad things happen, make the best out of it.
Problem is, you don't need to make ANYTHING out of it, because lemons are already sweet! Yes, they're sour, but if you eat enough of them you'll start to realize- they're about as sweet as sour candy.
Now picture a rock. Just a rock. A crumbly, uneven, ugly rock... Now, you don't like your imaginary rock the way it is, so you can either carve it into something nice or toss it away and look for better rocks. It probably wouldn't in real life, but when you throw your rock in your imaginary world, your rock breaks open and reveal crystals on the inside... You never had to carve it to make it beautiful- the beauty was already within.
Meanwhile, half the "inspirational" quotes about rain are about "there has to be rain for the flowers to bloom" or whatever- there HAS to be rain.
Well, that's just silly. The rain isn't just something that should be endured because it's necessary. Rain is amazing, and should be enjoyed! Rain is the BEST THING. It's beautiful in both sight and sound. It helps you fall asleep. It cleanses the world...
Guys, you don't need to "make the best out of" anything- the best is already there. There are very few bad things in life. They're all for our benefit!
"In all of living, have much fun and laughter. Life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured." ~Gordon B. Hinckley
So what's my word of advice?
"When life gives you lemons, eat them, until you realize how sweet lemons are!"
