Inspired by OXENFREE and the Original Cyber Matrix RP ♡
This Roleplay takes place in The Hub, a metropolis among other metropolises and even oceans, blending from territories ranging from the densest of cities to the widest of plains and the most overgrown jungles. Cyber Guardians are UNABLE to get out of The Hub itself, unlike in the counter-parting roleplay, Cyber Matrix (partially dead and separate cannon, these two roleplays DO NOT coexist, but they do share similar concepts.) Take it down that The Hub stretches on pretty much infinitely, and it grows to pretty much any size, making it perfect for the practically infinite number of Cyber Guardians. In this roleplay, devices are currently only able to be used for teleportation between distance. -Please be active in the community! We’re not going to go crazy on activity checks and whatnot, but we’d love it if you could actually roleplay after signing up.
-Yes, like in Cyber Matrix, you CAN roleplay as a cannon character, with the option of using personality and or slight look AUs. :) Though, unlike in Cyber Matrix, you MUST make a Sign-Up sheet for the cannon character just as you would with an OC. You must state that you don’t own the character.
-Don’t be overpowered! Try to keep all of your character’s statistics evened out, everyone has flaws.
-You can make as many characters as you want! Though, I suggest you check the characters studio first to make sure that nobody has the same character name. It’s okay if there’s two or three characters with the same name, but it’d be best if we can keep as few duplicates as possible. Be original! :)
-Unlike in Cyber Matrix, character death is totally possible. Not always permanent though, but possible, and at a way higher cost than death in Cyber Matrix. You are not obliged to kill off your character at any point.
-Don’t roleplay unless you’re accepted by @FourFerralCats or another moderator.
-Do not roleplay as someone else’s character or claims without that person’s explicit permission.
-Always be kind to others. Hate the character, not the roleplayer, never judge a book by it’s cover.
-No closed groups! It’s not really nice to exclude others from anything without a specific reason.
-Please never harm another person’s character without consent.
-Anyone is allowed to sign up, but if you are not accepted, note it down that we have our reasons. If we don’t get back to you within a week, your character’s stats are too high. If your character’s backstory is /too/ dark or seems a little bit too important, we’ll leave you a message asking you nicely to change it a bit. Fail to accept this term after a first warning, your character may not be accepted.
-DO NOT and I repeat, DO NOT start drama in the community. Please don’t make Cyberfree a place to vent either. It’s okay if your characters vent, but we’d prefer if you as a person wouldn’t vent over things happening in the community.
-Report any bullies or blossoming drama to a moderator immediately and anonymously so we are able to take action if there’s a problem. If you’re uncomfortable doing that, just report the comment and walk away. Don’t defend or offend anyone.
-Always have fun! We really hope you enjoy the roleplay and all of the people you meet while roleplaying here.
