Global warming, climate change, whatever you want to call it. It's happening, whether you like it or not. The climate changes not over just a year but it is measured over a period of 30 years.
The climate changing isn't just 'happening', it's our fault, humans. Every single day billions of people all over the world make one, or many decisions that impact our world. Constantly our choices, things we do are killing our earth.
Too many species have became endangered because of climate change. We, kids, have to take it into our own hands to help our planet if the adults won't.
It is thought that we have 11 years left until the effects of global warming are irreversible. 11 years until many of us are doomed to die before we turn 40. That is a big deal!
We can't wait any longer, we need to take action!

Here are a few ways to help the planet:
☛ Go to a school strike against climate!
☛ Try walking, cycling or public transport more often to reduce carbon
☛ Boil water over a stove instead of a kettle. Fun fact: running a kettle once uses the electricity used when running your laptop for five hours straight
☛ Try to eat less meat or even consider becoming vegetarian or vegan. If you can't try at least to be meat free once a week
☛ Reuse plastic bags as many times as you can and then responsibly recycle it
☛ Conserve water
☛ Start to use paper straw rather than plastic or even better, metal straw which you can reuse
☛ Invest in a reusable water bottle. You can keep over 114 plastic bottles out of the ocean if you use a reusable water bottle for a year!
☛ Make people aware of the events happening around them. Involve the Scratch community, make projects and post environment tags on your profile
