Golden sunlight beamed down through the tall windows into the library and onto books of all kinds. This was a beautiful library, like those in a storybook in Europe during the time of the world wars. The library had legions of books, a book for anyone and everyone. Comfy chairs were nestled into nooks for readers to be lost in the world of their books, tables were set out for the studiers, ladders were set up to reach books up high. It was the perfect library.
The old librarian sat at his antique desk, where there were books stacked. The old librarian wore a business suit, which gave him the air of a well-respected godfather or patriarch. His eyes were a deep dark brown that seemed to bring the truth out of you, yet they twinkled with knowledge and a good heart. He has a silver beard that was well trimmed but curled at the end as if it had a mind of its own. He has slightly flushed cheeks and a sharp nose for books. He seemed to be able to pick a book for any stranger, as a loving wise grandfather could. He was like a wizard from a book with many tales to tell, which was what he indeed was.
The librarian could tell you stories of monsters and wars and fair being who walked unknown. He could tell tales of unlikely heroes, and brave souls. He knew of the hidden magic, and could see whether you had magic in you or not. He was a storyteller.
Okay now~
Your character is involved in the world of magic; his or her story is intertwined with the tales of heroes.
There is a great evil rising, many are trying to
release the most powerful evil being ever, Nehil, the first legionnaire to turn dark. This. Must. Not. Happen.
How will your character be a part of this?
Basically your character is somehow involved with magic and is trying to prevent a great
war between good and evil. Or they could try to get to happen, and try to raise Nehil, the most powerful evil being ever.
-----------
There are many dwellers of the magic world, and they are divided into two main categories-
The Magic Users:
The Wieldlings: Those who are born with magic. It is their fate. Are commonly called Wielders. They don’t need any tools to use their magic.
The Masters: Wieldlings/Wielders who take in apprentices to teach them magic.
The Learners: Those who aren't born with magic, but learn it. They need tools to use magic, commonly rings, charms, or staffs.
Legionnaires: Wielders who have sworn to protect all that is good, and fight against evil. They gain immortality, and stop aging at the point they become a legionnaire. They are powerful fighters. They also train apprentices.
Nehilians: Legionnaires who have gone dark.
The Beings:
Elves: The fair ones of the magic world, who are extremely powerful, and they can use magic. They are immortal unless they give up their immortality.
Ogres/Orcs/Goblins: The nasty evil rogues who commonly do the nasty work of evil Wielders. Cannot use magic
Dragons: Commonly stay away from civilization, commonly evil, and they have magic properties and sometimes weapons. They live for a extremely long time, but they aren't immortal.
Ghosts/Living Skeletons/Zombies: The dead that are risen to do the bidding of evil doers. Generally have no control, basically very scary puppets.
Vampires/Werewolves: humans who have been infected with a disease or a curse that turns them into a werewolf/vampire. Some are evil, some are not.
Guardians: creatures such as sphinxes, griffons or other creatures that guard hidden treasure or secrets.
Gargoyles: Living stone statues that guard buildings.
Enchanted animals: animals that have been enchanted to be an assistant of a magic user or elf. Some have the power of speech, to give their owner advice or just to give them company. All have the power of telepathy. They can't cast magic, but are still helpful.
Halflings: those who are part elf, part human.
Pegasi: Winged horses that make trusty companions.
Manticore: mutant with the head of a human, body of a lion, and a scorpion tail.
Centaur: half human, half horse. Very powerful warriors
Satyr: Half human, half goat. Usually mischief-makers, but are normally good.
Chimera: mutant with the head of a goat and lion, front legs of a lion, rear legs of a goat, and a snake for a tail.
Hippalektryons: half horse, half rooster.
Hippocampi: half horse, half fish
Hydra: a dragon like creature that has nine heads, and if a head is cut off, two replace it.
Minotaur: mutant that is half bull half human. Are generally evil and are always powerful fighters.
Minoboar: mutant that is half boar half human. Are generally evil and are always powerful fighters

There are always rules and boundaries that we must follow, the rules go in detail but I’m not trying to be mean about it. I’m not going to hound you on every thing, but they are the rules. The most important rule is to have fun C:
Rules:
1. No cussing~ If you have to cuss, don’t. Remember this website is for all ages, and there are little kids on here.
2. Keep it appropriate, same reason as above.
3. Try to include everyone, and be fair.
4. No powerplaying.godmodding, mary-sueing, or chuck-norrising. (Making all-powerful or skillful characters, that can’t be beaten.) Even superman is in danger of being weakened by kryptonite.
5. No characters are perfect; make sure your character has some faults, please.
6. Original characters don’t make ones based off characters from books, movies, TV shows, etc.
7. No dramatic/extreme romance, and no kissing at first sight. First of all that is creepy, and second it drives me more insane that I am already.
