An Airowen is a lion like creature, with an anatomy very close to a lions. They tend to live in prides, but some roam around as loners. There are five prides: The Terrestta Pride, The Stormian Pride, The Tempest Pride, The Pax Pride, and The Daoloui Pride. The Terrestta Pride, The Stormian Pride, The Tempest Pride, and The Pax Pride are all elemental. Each pride is based on elements. The Daoloui Pride is not elemental. In the elemental prides there are tribes each one based on a separate element.

The Terresta Pride- This pride is based on nature elements such as the earth, forest, woods, ground, etc. The Terresta Pride are strong and confident, and are generally peaceful. They are kind and warm hearted generally. They can have a fearful rage but that only happens when greatly provoked, accused, angered, etc. The inside tribes are Earth, Forest, Woods, Ground, Ocean, Mountain, Rock, Water, River, Tree, Leaf, Meadow, and Plains.

The Stormian Pride- This pride is based on weather elements such as thunder, rain, hail, wind, snow, etc. The airowen of the Stormian pride tend to be vain, high strong, and proud. They tend to have a temper, but are very powerful in battle. The inside tribes are Rain, Hail, Wind, Snow, Thunder, Lightning, Ice, and Tsunami.

The Tempest pride- This pride is based on more chaotic elements such has flame, darkness, shadow, bone, etc. Although some of the elements sound evil the Tempest pride is not evil. There are only a few individuals who are evil, and those individuals are exiled. The airowen of the Tempest Pride are heroic, sometimes chaotic, and good humored. But they are to be feared in battle. The inner tribes are Flame, Darkness, Night, Shadow, Bone, Ghost, Saber, Volcano, Sunset, Dusk, and Evening.

The Pax Pride- This pride is based on celestial elements such as Light, Stars, and Flight. The Pax pride is very peaceful, hence their name. (Pax means peace) They are very angelic, mystical, and graceful looking, and are kind and helpful to the other prides, but can be a powerful ally in battle. The inner tribes are Light, Stars, Flight, Celestial and Dawn.
The Daoloui Pride- This pride is not elemental, so there are no tribes. It is rare and almost impossible that airowen from the Daoloui have powers, in fact the few have them are one of prophecy or legend. The Daoloui pride has a wide range of personalities mostly good. The Daoloui prides as a whole is heroic and are powerful warriors since they have no elements.
