Scratch 3.0 Block Hacking

Scratch 2.0 had some very browser-breaking block “hacks” caused by editing the project.json file, and i would like to know if there are any ways to replicate that in Scratch 3.0.

I've heard of the mysterious red cap block created by a misspelling in the project file, is there any other events that can occour by similar means?

Also, please do not reply to this with something along the lines of “caN i haz hax for scratch pls” or “H4X0R your gettin banned”
It's really disappointing when i check my messages to see if anybody has found any news, and it is just that.

Number 999 @will803: the first time you see this copy and paste it on top of your sig in the scratch forums and decrease the number by 1, and add your username to the end of the number, but only if there wasn't a username already there! Comment on the user who you found this from's profile saying that you continued the experiment. Social experiment started by dude341, based on “generation social experiment” trend.

Scratch 3.0 Block Hacking

As ElsieBreeze mentioned here, you can set “shadow”: true on a stack block to hide it.

Unfortunately the 2.0 hack to put a reporter into a variable dropdown
set (reporter :: grey) to (0)
doesn't work in Scratch 3.0.

Yeah, this seems to be a request for custom reporter blocks - which has been suggested in the linked topic and a number of other times. I know I would personally love to see them, myself - I'm not sure what technical or design concerns there to them, if any.
