scratch bot.

the scratch bot is the new tutor for scratch, it can hold your projects so you don't have to go to the tab, ‘'my stuff’' and also you can tell it to grab blocks, and how many of each kind, it can also change or go to scripts if the scratcher want's it to, it can play sounds, show costumes on it's screen, and can show projects you have loved, favorited, or even remixed, and it can also place blocks with you and you can retrive blocks you wanted it to give to you, and it can move all around anywhere, it can also alert you when you just got a messages by beeping three times with the alarm sound, this thing also can delete blocks upon command, and also, there are different modes for it to teach you, such as, begginner, or moderate, or even high class student, and upon different difficulty setitngs for users and much more. or this bot, P.S the robot will look like eve form wall-e, and this thiing can only be activated upon confirmation, such as when ever you start a project, it will say, do you wan't to work in ‘'BOT MODE’' or ‘'MANUAL MODE’' manual mode is where you can manually work with no bot, but bot mode is whee you can work with the bot, an you can also manually drag and use blocks too.

scratch bot.

That's…. a lot….

Could we narrow this down to something that's more simple and easy to work with? I like the idea, but I think this is way too much to tackle all at once.
I like the idea of having some sort of assistant for a project. Maybe be able to search up blocks or give a block that a user describes.
Now, the deal with the bot is that it can't change the code itself. That would be pretty complex to do and it's probably easier for the user to take care of that to prevent unintended issues.

There is one thing I'm afraid of: it may become like Clippy.
If you don't know who it is, he was an assistant that was supposed to “help” you when working in Microsoft Office. However, he was so annoying that Microsoft removed him long ago. He's being parodied to this day.
Even though he was optional (at least I believe so), a lot of people were annoyed by him. But that's still better than having him appear every single time you start working, so I suggest adding to your post that it would be optional.

Designing an assistant that isn't annoying probably isn't easy. I believe that it's better to have humans whom you can ask questions.

I think it does a bit too much. The same bot for both coding the project and for other things like messages and tutorials would make it a bit too complex and the interface to use it would be difficult to design. Maybe simplify it down to more basic functions or split it up into multiple ideas.

No support. All of those features can be done manually, and the bot would take a lot of time to create.

P.S the robot will look like eve form wall-e

That might be a copyright issue.

If the “scratch bot” is changed to be Clippy I will support
No support because of this reason. It would be annoying to have an assistant attack you each time you do anything.

also having it look like eve from wall-e is a copyright issue

And, at the very least, I would discourage others from telling people that they have “blockspammed” in the forums. If it really is spam, just use the Report button and move on.To any forum helper / mini-mod who reads this, when you come across a necropost, I'd suggest doing nothing and instead maybe reporting the topic. If there doesn't appear to be a need for the topic to remain open, ask for it to be closed within the report.I suggest that, instead of trying to respond to these users asking them not to necropost, that you just use the Report button and ask us to take it down due to spam.

I think instead of being a robot, it could be Scratch Cat. When a user touched a block with the right mouse button, Scratch Cat would appear to help the user. How about that?

not much of a bot then is it? and no support, it can get annoying and new scratchers are able to learn via themselves, and other scratchers.

What? They aren't advertising stuff, they only linked the scratch wiki, to tell you that is a thing that already exists to learn about scratch.

Edit: Unless there was an advertisement here that got deleted…?

Only the footer of the forum and other pages with the 2.0 theme. On the Scratch home page it goes to the new link.
