Miscellaneous :: hat
Scratchblocks allows for any color you want. But i may be putting stuff besides custom blocks there, like ideas for extensions, a link to a secondary thread, or a guide for adding stuff.

Also, we are now in the second page!

can you consider adding:
create variable (...)
<variable (...) exists>
<variable [...v]=(....)>

This isn't a place to suggest blocks, it's a place for workarounds

That's a neat discovery but it's not a true workaround, and also those blocks are depracated and could stop working at any time. I may consider adding a link though, as I can always remove it later.

SMGIbrahim wrote:

The first two blocks can't be made, and the third is too obvious a workaround. I might add it to my upcoming project though if it's asked enough

Here is another thing for “xor”.

define < boolean1 > xor <boolean2> :: boolean
return <not < <boolean1> = <boolean2> > > :: control

Sorry. :: looks
( Your [ signature ] :: reporter operators ) [ has been v] [eaten by] ( (an v) [evil] [kumquat] :: variables ) @delInput [ because v] {
( (the v) [shield] :: sensing ) < is :: pen > [broken] @addInput . :: control cap

hmm, well, i put the original workaround because it's the easiest to see how it works, but maybe it might be best to have it be the shortest?

what do you all think? i feel like i'm rejecting too many so i might try implementing more and see if it goes well

I think providing a shorter workaround could be better, because it could save users time in the long run.

In the case of xor, I think

<not <[] = []>>

is the most optimal solution.

Okay, this isn't suggested very frequently, but…
turn @turnRight () degrees in () seconds :: motion
define turn clockwise (dg) degrees in (s) seconds
repeat ((s :: custom arg)*(30))
turn cw ((dg :: custom arg)/((s :: custom arg)*(30))) degrees
end

turn @turnLeft () degrees in () seconds :: motion
define turn counterclockwise (dg) degrees in (s) seconds
repeat ((s :: custom arg)*(30))
turn ccw ((dg :: custom arg)/((s :: custom arg)*(30))) degrees
end
Taken from my post in this topic.
