♡ Welcome To Parallax World ♡
This studio is a place which celebrates parallax projects! A parallax project is when art layers move towards your mouse creating the art perspective and more interactive! This makes the project more entertaining and awesome as we are combining both art and code in a creative way using Scratch! :D
Thank you so much for the feature Scratch Team! Hopefully we can make parallaxes an enjoyable thing to produce in Scratch! :D
~ 09-03-2018 (or March 9, 2018)
We officially reached 100 projects! Congrazzels everyone! <33

♡ What is a parallax? ♡
A parallax is, according to Google, "the effect [where] the position or direction of an object appears to differ when viewed from different positions". In Scratch, a parallax is basically where you separate your art into three main sections - foreground, middle-ground, and background. Most people do more middle-ground than anything else, and probably have around 5 layers in their parallax. Moving your mouse causes these "layers" to move different amounts (say, the tree moves 12 mm but the sun moves 10 mm), giving the illusion of something moving as your perspective changes.
♡ Time to challenge yourself... ♡
Create a parallax of your favourite scenery or most recent art! =D To test yourself, even more, consider adding as many layers as you can!

♡ Here are some Guidelines ♡
- Please suggest parallax projects to be added to the studio! They can be your own too! :)
- We aren't searching for any curators at the moment but if we see someone very active and responsible we will consider them! <3
- Managers will be chosen by me and if the studio grows we can have voting! They are allowed to add projects as well as invite curators! >u<
- No being rude in the comments or posting anything irrelevant. However constructive criticism is always welcome! :D
- Have fun and possibly consider creating an art piece of yours more interactive! <3
- No stealing other people's coding, try and develop your own form of parallax code (it gets a lot easier once you have the basic script)
