due to an image server migration, the scratch team has taken away our default icons, leaving us with blank profile pictures.

answer: yes.
according to the U.S. declaration of independence and most enlightenment thinkers, every human has a set of unalienable rights. there is social contract between leaders and the people which states that the purpose of government (in this case the scratch team) is to protect the rights of the people. the rights vary, however according to the U.S. declaration of independence, our rights are "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness".

taking away our default icons is a failure to protect all 3 of them. life, i'd argue our profile pictures are part of our life. liberty, not only has the scratch team taken away our freedom of profile picture, but they've silenced our voices. finally my profile picture makes me happy, and so the actions against my profile picture are a clear failure to protect my right to the pursuit of happiness
