OG homies only.
In order to be a Curator:
- You must have been active within the community between 2007 - 2015.
- Your original account must be dated to 2015 or earlier. Though exceptions can be made if you are tight enough within the community. (credit to @BlazeArnav for the suggestion)
- If nobody responds or sends an invite that probably means your request got denied. If you have an earlier account and proof of ownership then you should send another request with said info included.
- If you are saying you used a different account originally, please reply to that comment with that different account. (ty @happyface4)
In order to be a Manager:
- Just Wait
and those trusted by managers can be promoted to manager.
Rules:
- For everyone else, use your common sense and follow the guidelines.
- Only insert old or nostalgic projects, do not add your projects in bulk.
- For managers, do not admin abuse and be careful who to invite or promote. Last time, the old studio got nuked.
- Don’t spam the chat.
"Where are you now?" (About the managers. Though, share your experience in the comments.)

@scratch575: I'm taking computer science and animation courses at my high school, and make poorly made music in my freetime.
@pos1999 aka positivelypositive: 3.0 has ushered in a "postmodern" era of Scratch, with many of the 2010s-era Scratchers leaving for good. I don't blame them, as it appears that MIT has redoubled their efforts to make the editor (and site in general) as "kid-friendly" as possible, while virtually ignoring the established user base. For veteran Scratchers, the editor layout is a nightmare, as it is hard to navigate through any amount of code greater than that needed for a pong game. With the amount of new users having exploded in the last few years, the website has become even more social media-esque, lacking the feeling of a close-knit community that was so prevalent in the early 2010s. Given all of this, I will find it hard to stay on the site after releasing my last project: a full version of Texas Hold'em Poker that I have been working on for the last five years. I decided that I would not let hundreds of hours go to waste; to finish something that will be the first of its kind of Scratch. It doesn't matter to me what account it's posted on or how much attention it gets. My presence and growth on this site have been tainted by my repeated immaturity and ego, and I want to move on from that.
@matrixmuzic: hi i go by crizpily now but like i be makin beats and songs in my spare time and now my whole life is basically music so if you want to have a conversation with me just mention music ig
@TheGamer501: I’ve been more active in terms of being on the site and connecting with the community, but I want to make more projects. I’m occasionally working on this ambitious game, but production has been kind of on and off lately.
@xenotv: i pain
@theultimateguy02: growing up with Scratch was really cool. I think I'll always be pretty thankful and nostalgic for the good times here. Also, I'm trying to be more active on YouTube these days, maybe I'll finish my next video in 999 years
(subscribe to Digibutter on youtube do it do it do it)
@thegloon:
just getting back into making projects and animations, it seems the community has refined its taste since 2015. and the once popular stickman 'genre' is no longer as successful, it seems the new generation of scratchers just seems to cling on to popular scratchers and follow whoever they follow, it is interesting...
@BlazeArnav:
living life to the fullest
@DarkCrystalBall
Where am I now? Creating, still creating, of course! Writing, making games, making music, just not on Scratch. I'd say I create even more now than I used to! And of course, I'll never stop dreaming. I haven't been as active lately, but don't let that fool you. I'll always be checking the website, but for now I've retired from making Scratch projects. Also I just found out my Webkinz account got deleted and I'm trying to recover from the trauma of that.
@Sterlon: Trying to make a new animation that will hopefully not be bad
